DHS Awards CSC $56M Extension for Telecom Support

CSC [CSC] has received a potential two-year, $56 million contract extension from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to continue providing support for the Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS) and Wireless Priority Service (WPS) programs. The extension has a one-year base period and a one-year option. GETS and WPS are government priority telecommunications services that bypass network congestion for authorized callers, allowing emergency calls to be connected, even when a crisis or natural disaster overwhelms land lines and wireless networks.…
