Despite New KC-46 Deficiencies, Air Force Still Working Toward October Delivery Date

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — The Air Force continues to work with Boeing [BA] to receive the first deliveries of KC-46A Pegasus next-generation aircraft by the target October deadline, despite new deficiencies revealed during testing, the new Air Mobility Command (AMC) commander said Tuesday.Gen. Maryanne Miller, who assumed command of AMC less than two weeks ago, told reporters that the command is working closely with the Air Force’s mobility program office to address the new technical issues during a roundtable discussion…
