Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $13,184,962 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-reimbursable, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the Variable Stability In-Flight Simulator and General Support Fleet Airframe in support of the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School. This contract provides for basic F-16 engineering support, documentation, special projects and logistical support. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2026. This award is the result of a sole source acquisition. Fiscal 2022 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $780,000 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity (FA9304-22-D-5000).
