China Orders Gemini X-Ray Systems from AS&E

American Science & Engineering [ASEI] received an order for 15 Gemini parcel inspection systems to be used to secure checkpoints at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Gemini uses dual energy transmission for metallic detection and the company's Z Backscatter technology for enhanced organic detection for detecting weapons, explosives and contraband. The value of the order wasn't disclosed.
