BAE Systems Tops ATK To Manage Radford Army Ammunition Plant

         BAE Systems has prevailed over incumbent ATK [ATK] to manage, operate and maintain the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in southwest Virginia, under an initial $850 million, 10-year contract, company officials said.   Neither BAE Systems nor ATK have been debriefed by the government about their proposals.   In a statement provided to Defense Daily, ATK Energetic Systems said it was notified it was not the successful bidder.   “We look forward to a debriefing from our government partners on…
