BAE, OmniPerception Partner on Advanced Face Recognition

Britain's BAE Systems is providing about $2.1 million in support of an 18-month partnership with Britain's OmniPerception to add lip movement and speech pattern recognition to existing face recognition technology when applied to CCTV footage. The work will build on OmniPerception's expertise and capabilities in face recognition technology. BAE will also provide project management and engineering support.
