Aussies Invest In New Kongsberg NSM Missile Factory

The Australian government on Thursday said it is investing nearly $570 million into Norway’s Kongsberg to build a new domestic missile factory. The Defense Ministry said this will go toward construction of a factory in the Newcastle Airport precinct that will build and service Naval Strike Missiles (NSM0 and Joint Strike Missiles (JSM) to be used by the Australian Defense Force.
