Army Vice Chief Of Staff Vows To Protect Combat Training Centers From Sequester

Army Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Daniel Allyn Thursday vowed to protect the service’s combat training centers (CTC) if lawmakers can’t stave off another round of sequestration-related budget cuts.Allyn said combat training centers are where the Army’s brigade combat teams verify their readiness for global deployment. The Army has three CTCs. The Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in Hohenfels, Germany, provides fixed and mobile training.
