The Army on Wednesday awarded Harris [HRS] a $1.7 billion firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide Afghanistan with radios, ancillaries, spare parts and services.
The contract is a multi-year, foreign military sales (FMS) contract, according to a Defense Department statement. Bids were solicited via the Internet with only one bid received. The estimated completion date is June 15, 2021. DF-ST-87-06962
This contract was inadvertently announced on June 16, DoD said.
