Air Force Signs Off On Boeing’s KC-46A Tanker Design

Prime contractor Boeing [BA] and the Air Force validated the final elements of the KC-46A aerial refueling tanker design, clearing the way for production and testing, according to a company statement. The Air Force and Boeing held a KC-46A weapon system critical design review (CDR) July 8-10 following months of component and subsystem reviews.
