This contract vehicle will provide solutions to support network operations, core enterprise services and infrastructure development and operations and includes network management and defense, services-oriented architecture infrastructure, enterprise-level security/management and implementation/operations and telephony infrastructure and services.

DoD said NETCENTS-2 is the mandatory source for all Air Force units purchasing services that fall under the scope of the contract and is available for use by the Army, Navy, or other DoD and federal agencies.

Ordering is expected to be complete by April 1, 2022. This award is the result of a small business competitive acquisition with 29 offers received. No funds were obligated at the time of award, each company will receive a minimum guarantee of $2,500.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) in November sustained protests by CSC [CSC], HP [HP], Harris IT Services [HRS] and Booz Allen Hamilton over the assertion that the Air Force incorrectly, evaluated the proposals and made unreasonable source selection decisions (Defense Daily, Nov. 21). BTAS, Centech Group, Epsilon System Solutions, Indus, MicroTechnolgies, Smartronix, SMS Data Products Group, Sumaria Systems, Technica and Telos were previously awarded NETCENTS-2 ID/IQ contracts in March 2014 (Defense Daily, March 28).
