Air Force Awards $6.9 Billion In NETCENTS-2 Contracts After Successful Protests

The Air Force on Nov. 5 awarded an additional $6.9 billion in Network Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) contracts in response to protests to previous NETCENTS-2 awards in August, according to a Defense Department statement. The Air Force said it received nine protests as a result of the Aug. 23 awards. The service said it told the Government Accountability Office (GAO) Sept. 30 that in response to the protests, it would take corrective action by awarding a contract to all offerors in…
