Zelenskyy Re-Iterates Call for U.S. Air Defense Systems, As DoD Diverts APKWS to Middle East

On Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy re-iterated his call for the provision of U.S. air defense systems to aid his country in repelling Russian kamikaze drone attacks, the most numerous of which was the wave of 472, including Iranian-designed Shaheds, on June 1.
