UTC Aerospace Systems Launches High-Res SWIR Video Camera

UTC Aerospace Systems [UTX] has developed a next-generation shortwave infrared (SWIR) digital video camera as part of its Sensors Unlimited product line. The 1280x1024 resolution, indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) mil-rugged digital video camera, model GA1280JS, features a 30Hz full-frame rate, according to a company statement. It also adds snapshot mode capability to the Sensors Unlimited product line of high-definition near infrared (NIR) and SWIR cameras.
