USAF Awards Boeing More Than $2.5 Billion for E-7A Wedgetail

The U.S. Air Force on Aug. 9 said that it has awarded Boeing [BA] a more than $2.5 billion rapid prototyping contract for the E-7A Wedgetail airborne early warning aircraft. "Work will be performed in Tukwila, Washington, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 28, 2029," according to a DoD contracts notice.
