Union Says GD’s IT Business Settles With Workers Over Anti-Union Tactics

The Communications Workers of America (CWA) on Tuesday said that General Dynamics’ [GD] Information Technology business segment has reached an agreement with its employees that vacates the results of a union election at a former GD facility and requires the company to refrain from anti-union activities.Work at the former GD facility in Alexandria, Va., is now performed by Zimmerman Associates, which won the Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporations Customer Contact Center contract last fall.The CWA said the GDIT’s settlement with the…
