U.S. Space Force Plans New Contract for Geolocation Global Support Services

The U.S. Space Force plans to award a Geolocation Global Support Services (GGSS) contract to aid the service in geolocating Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). In 2012, U.S. Strategic Command awarded Kratos [KTOS] a more than $13 million contract for radio frequency (RF) monitoring services for U.S. Central Command and U.S. Pacific Command. In 2016, STRATCOM modified the contract to expand RF monitoring, interference detection and geolocation services for other combatant commands in all DoD leased Ku and C-band commercial bandwidth worldwide…
