TSA Issues RFI for X-Ray Cargo Screening Systems

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for X-Ray cargo screening systems for use in the aviation cargo environment. The systems should provide the capability to visually locate and identify potential threats within cargo pieces, parcels and pallets and be capable of being integrated into warehouse environment. The systems should also differentiate metallic, non-metallic and organic substances and aid in discriminating threat items.
