The FAA selected five airports nationwide to host some of its testing and evaluation of drone detection and mitigation systems as the agency works to develop standards around their use.

FAA Selects Five Airports for Counter-Drone Testing The Federal Aviation Administration has selected five airports to test unmanned aircraft system (UAS) detection and mitigation systems that will create future standards for countering UAS (C-UAS) at airports. The airports are Atlantic City International, Syracuse Hancock International in New York, Rickenbacker International in Ohio, Huntsville International in Alabama, and Seattle-Tacoma International.
