SpaceX Pushes Orbcomm Launch Beyond Press Time

The Space Exploration Technologies Corp.- (SpaceX) Orbcomm launch originally scheduled for 6:05 p.m. EDT Friday was delayed beyond press time by so SpaceX could check leak check data, a company official said on its webcast. The goal at press time was for launch around 7:15 p.m. EDT. The company was scheduled to launch six Orbcomm OG2 satellites from Cape Canveral Air Force Station, Fla., with a goal of hitting a low-earth orbit (LEO).
