Raytheon Conducts Decision Support Tools Experiment with Coast Guard

Under a year-old Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA), Raytheon [RTN] this month hosted an experiment with the Coast Guard to simulate real-time situational awareness and decision making skills. The simulated scenario looked at the decisions and actions taken to locate a specific vessel of interest and prevent a potential terrorist incursion. The effort examined the potential implementation of conceptual command and control center decision support tools to enhance maritime security.
