PR Newswire

BROCKTON, Mass., Nov. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Atrenne Computing Solutions, a Celestica company, announces the release of the 717-SM Series ATR. This new rugged electronic packaging design performs in the harshest military and aerospace environments and can be deployed in a range of land, sea, and air applications, customizable to fit specific customer requirements.

Atrenne's 717-SM Series ATR

“The 717-SM Series is another example of Atrenne’s investment in rugged electronic packaging designs,” said Jim Tierney, Atrenne’s Vice President, Aerospace and Defense. “With this proven base design, it can be customized to fit any application that requires high-level processing and throughput, such as SIGNIT, ISR and EW.”

The 717-SM Series ATR is configurable for up to seven slots of 3U VPX or CompactPCI modules with an additional 3U Vita 62 compliant power supply slot. With OpenVPX, it supports up to 10GB Ethernet. The enclosure design has the flexibility to mount as either a base or a wall mount configuration. Side air plenums direct air over exterior cooling fins to maximize front panel useable surface area for increased I/O capabilities.

The Atrenne 700 Series also includes convection-cooled, conduction-cooled, air-over conduction, liquid-cooled, and composite air-over conduction-cooled ATR enclosures. These are available in standard ARINC sizes that include 1/4 ATR Short to 1 1/2 ATR Long and any custom form factor – utilizing the flexibility of a modular frame. The 700 Series will accept a variety of bus structures and platforms, including VME, VME64x, VXS, VPX, and cPCI technologies, providing an expansive product offering of bus standards as well as application-specific custom designs.
