COSTA MESA, Calif., Jan. 30, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — In September of 2019, Wesley Eaton joined Astro Pak to head up the operations for the California Cleanroom as its General Manager, in Downey. An aerospace engineer by training, Mr. Eaton has spent most of the past decade in Southern California’s aerospace industry. Since starting out as a mechanical design engineer at C&D Zodiac Aerospace in Huntington Beach, he was soon elevated to Program Manager and then Director of Operations, working with both Airbus and Bombardier on supplying components for their aircraft. Eventually becoming Director of Supply Chain and Materials for Zodiac, he managed and oversaw various aspects of the site’s supply chain, warehousing and worked with key stake holders to keep things running smoothly.

After Zodiac, Mr. Eaton assumed the role of Vice President of Operations for BMS | Data 911 in the San Diego area where, along with managing a diverse portfolio that included operations, supply chain, and customer service, he was also tasked with overseeing quality and engineering while also helping develop the company’s vision and core values.

Chief Business Development Officer, Robert Pozil observes, “The broad scope of services at the cleanroom creates a challenge of how to manage operations throughput for such diverse precision cleaning requirements, and at the same time to create a great experience for each customer.” He continues, “the addition of Wesley Eaton as General Manager is the perfect fit. His background in team building, aerospace quality management systems, production processes and optimization are exactly what Astro Pak needs as the company prepares for considerable growth.”

It was Astro Pak’s “culture and investment in their team members which impressed me,” Mr. Eaton said when asked what drew him to the company. “During each of my visits, I found myself surrounded by happy, energetic and honest people that were ready for the next challenge.” He continued, “Since joining the team, I have been greatly impressed with the commitment and drive for success both as a company and with each individual team member.”
