Gary Peters (D-Mich.) is joining the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), subject to ratification by the Democratic Caucus, he said Dec. 19 in a statement.Peters’ likely return brings Michigan representation back to the committee as the committee was chaired by retired Sen.
