Obama Revives Scaled-Down Orion Program For NASA

By Marina Malenic Pledging a "transformative agenda" for NASA, President Barack Obama said his new national space plan aims to send Americans to an asteroid and eventually to Mars in the 2030s. "Nobody is more committed to human space flight than I am," Obama said in a speech at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. "But we have to do it in a smart way."
