Northrop Grumman Cobham Intercoms LLC (NGCI), a joint venture between Northrop Grumman [NOC] and Cobham plc, has been awarded the first production delivery order of the AN/VIC-5 enhanced vehicular communication system for the Army. NGCI holds a $2.4 billion indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with the Army that was awarded in 2009 for the delivery of the AN/VIC-5 system, which completed validation and verification testing earlier this year.
