LORD Corp. To Acquire Micro Sensor Suppler MicroStrain

LORD Corp. this week said it has agreed to acquire micro-sensor developer and supplier MicroStrain Inc., expanding its capabilities and geographic footprint. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. LORD, which is based in North Carolina, develops and manufactures technologies used in the management of vibration, motion and noise control in various markets, including aerospace and defense.
