L3Harris Technologies [LHX] said on Tuesday that it had finished Preliminary Design Review (PDR) to develop 18 satellites with infrared payloads for the U.S. Space Force's Space Development Agency (SDA) Tranche 2, Tracking Layer for the detection and defeat of ballistic and hypersonic missiles.
