L-1 Identity Solutions [ID] has received a potential five-five year, $195 million contract with the State Department to continue providing support of Passport printing systems and related security products, technical support and maintenance needed to sustain U.S. passport production operations. The contract was awarded to L-1's subsidiary Trans Digital Technologies Corp., which has helped the State Department for more than a decade with the Toppan MP300US passport printing system.
