HII Wins Australian Contract To Help Aussies Qualify as Sub Suppliers

The Australian government awarded HII’s [HII] Australian subsidiary a $6 million contract to deliver a new submarine supplier qualification pilot to help Australian companies qualify to enter the U.S. submarine industrial base supply chain. “HII Australia has been awarded a contract to deliver the Pilot program over the next two years, with an initial value of $9.6 million [Australian dollars] and the option to extend based on achievement,” the Australian defense ministry said on March 6.
