HASC To Begin Marking Up FY ’18 Defense Policy Bill June 21

The House Armed Service Committee (HASC) announced June 14 plans to begin considering the fiscal year 2018 defense authorization bill next week.A series of markup sessions will start June 21 with the emerging threats and capabilities subcommittee, followed by the tactical air and land forces subcommittee. The HASC’s four other subcommittees – readiness, strategic forces, military personnel, and seapower and projection forces – will hold their markups June 22.The full committee intends to hold its markup June 28.
