HAC Wants More Oversight Over Navy NGEN

The House Appropriations Committee (HAC) has "concerns" with the Navy's massive effort to replace the Navy Marine Corps Internet (NMCI) and wants the Office of the Secretary of Defense to conduct an Independent Cost Estimate (ICE) of the program, though the panel is fully funding the service's $1.7 billion request for the effort in FY '12.
