While declining budgets will shrink the defense aerospace market, the commercial aerospace market will see record growth in aircraft production, according to a Deloitte study released on Jan. 2. The global aerospace industry will grow by 5 percent in 2014, but nearly all of that expansion will be from the commercial sector. The exponential rise in passenger air travel has seen increased demand for aircraft.
