
The Commerce Department on Tuesday signed non-binding preliminary deal terms with U.S. semiconductor designer and manufacturer MACOM Technology Solutions to provide up to $70 million in direct funding to expand two company facilities that support the defense, telecommunications, industrial, and datacenter industries. Combined with federal tax credits and incentives from the State of Massachusetts, MACOM said the preliminary terms propose up to $180 million for the company.
