The Los Angeles County Regional Identification System (LACRIS) has awarded Cogent Systems [COGT] a contract for 1,000 BlueCheck mobile identification devices to be deployed to law enforcement agencies in Los Angeles County. L.A. County law enforcement officers already have 500 of the handheld devices.
