Codebench is integrating its Personal Identity Verification (PIV) software into Datastrip's DSV2+TURBO biometrically-enabled smart card reader to market to customers seeking access control solutions related to federal credentials. Codebench, a software development firm, makes PIVCheck Mobile and PIVCheck Plus Mobile, which allow for Ethernet, WiFi and optional GSM connectivity for cardholder validation of PIN, fingerprint biometric and certificates.
