CACI Opens Fiscal Year With Strong First Quarter

CACI International [CAI] posted strong first quarter sales and earnings and announced record orders. Net income increased 15 percent to $21 million, 69 cents earnings per share (EPS), from $18.3 million (60 cents EPS) a year ago. Sales were up 18 percent to $654.8 million from $553.6 million, with nearly 11 percent of the gain organic. Funded backlog stood at $1.7 billion.
