BlackSea Technologies on Wednesday revealed it is participating in the robotic-heavy Operation Southern Spear under U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/4th Fleet in the Caribbean Sea. The company said it is contributing one 16-foot Global Autonomous Reconnaissance Craft (GARC) Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) and its Oceanus VI 162-foot Mission Support Vessel.  The GARC is designed for reconnaissance and provides operational support while the company bills the Oceanus VI as having a shallow draft, 30,000-pound payload capacity, and a 3,000-pound crane to…
