Bell Helicopter [TXT] was awarded a $85.5 million contract to conduct research for and develop updates to weapons systems in support of H-1 aircraft for the U.S. Navy and government of Pakistan, the Pentagon announced Aug. 17The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is part of a system configuration set (SCS), which includes creating prototypes of system capability improvements to the H-1 fleets for emerging needs.The contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy with 94.12 percent ($80.5 million) and the government of Pakistan with…
