BAE Systems Submits Bid For Warrior Fighting Vehicle Upgrades

BAE Systems Nov. 17 submitted its bid for the potential $1.67 billion Warrior Capability Sustainment Program, to upgrade the fleet of British Army Warrior infantry fighting vehicles. The bid, submitted one day before the deadline, would feature upgrades such as a new turret and weapon system to increase firepower; a fully digital operating system to improve fighting capability and survivability, and allow plug-and-play future upgrades.
