Australia MRH90 Military Helicopters Having Problems In Strong Winds

Australia’s new army and navy helicopters, the MRH90 Taipan, is having problems starting and stopping the rotors in strong winds, local media reported June 29.The starting and stopping issues cause damage to the helicopters’ rotor heads.The MRH90, an Australian variant of the NHIndustries NH90, is meant to replace Australia’s existing Black Hawk and retired Sea King fleets.
