Army Needs ‘Results-Oriented Plan’ To Staff Modular Forces, GAO Says

The Army needs to report to Congress a "results-oriented plan" with specific information on its progress toward equipping and staffing its modular forces through 2019, the General Accountability Office (GAO) recommends in a recent report. "Without a plan for equipment and staffing that links funding with results and provides milestones, the Army can not assure decision makers when modular units will have the required equipment and staff in place to restore readiness," the GAO report said.
