
The Army has awarded Raytheon [RTN] a five-year, $205 million deal to continue providing support for its Phalanx weapon system, the Pentagon said on Dec. 27. Raytheon will provide services for the counter-rocket system, a land-based version of the close-in weapon system more commonly seen on Navy ships.
