Air Force Awards $449 Million To Lockheed Martin For JASSM

The Air Force awarded Lockheed Martin [LMT] two production contracts totaling $449 million for the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) and the Extended Range (ER) variant, the company said on Thursday. The awards for Lots 11 and 12 will produce 340 JASSM missiles and 100 JASSM-ER missiles. The contracts are only the third and fourth lots to include the extended-range version.
