Aion Seeking U.S. Distributor for Vein Recognition Reader

Aion Technologies, a subsidiary of Taiwan Secom Co., Ltd., has begun to market its vein recognition reader, company officials tell TR2 at the recent ASIS security conference in Las Vegas. Aion is seeking a U.S. distributor for INVERAS, which combines the reader, controller and access control device into one unit. The device can identify the vein pattern on a person's finger in one second. INVERAS also includes PIN and card reader authentication.
