Finmeccanica’s AgustaWestland Oct. 2 delivered the first two of a planned 16 ICH-47F Chinook helicopters to the Italian army during official ceremonies held at the Vergiate, Italy plant. The deliveries are a major milestone in the strategic partnership between AgustaWestland and the service, providing a significant contribution to the modernization of the Italian army helicopter fleet, providing enhanced capabilities.
