Wicker Bill Has Provisions Favoring Non-Traditional Defense Companies

The bill introduced by Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) Chairman Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) on Dec. 19th contains provisions that may favor defense start-ups and non-traditional defense contractors, such as Palantir Technologies [PLTR], Anduril, and SpaceX, over traditional defense original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), like Lockheed Martin [LMT], Boeing [BA], RTX [RTX], and Northrop Grumman [NOC].
