U.S. OKs $145.5 Million In Javelin And Radio Systems To Bulgaria And Sweden

The State Department on Friday  approved two Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for Javelin missiles to Bulgaria and Joint Tactical Radio Systems to Sweden worth $145.5 million total. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress of the two sales on Sept. 20. Bulgaria requested $218 Javelin FGM-148F missiles with four fly to buy missiles, 107 Javelin Lightweight Command Launch Units (LWCLU) alongside trainers, lifecycle support, and various logistics and program support elements at a cost of $114 million.  The primary…
