TSA Going Light on Checkpoint CT in FY ’21 Budget Request

The Transportation Security Administration’s is requesting less than $29 million in fiscal year 2021 for advanced carry-on baggage screening systems versus having more than $161 million at its disposal the past two fiscal years for the computed tomography (CT)-based technology.
