Congress this month approved a resolution to continue funding the federal government at fiscal year 2021 levels, giving budget negotiators more time to iron out differences between Democrats and Republicans for the fiscal year 2022 federal budget, but the specter of a full-year continuing resolution looms large and could hinder the pace of deploying checkpoint computed tomography (CT)-based scanners.
